The Role

 

The Product Analytics Executive is an important role within TV&C which uses analytics best practice to assist in assessing roadmap initiatives, product performance and feature performance to achieve the optimal customer experience.

The successful candidate will be at the forefront of building innovative new products in a start up like environment at Optus.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • With best practice analytics, you'll assess feature viability, desirability and performance on products like SubHub and Optus Sport
  • Contribute to roadmap prioritisation by validating features using best practice experimentation techniques
  • Own product analytics strategy & reporting across SubHub and Optus Sport
  • Improve the confidence of what our roadmaps will deliver by validating features with an experimentation plan you'll implement and lead
  • Permeate overall product strategy at Optus TV&Content with insightful behavioural & cohort analysis

Experience

 

  • Experience evaluating user behaviour on digital products using analytics platforms like Google Analytics is essential
  • Understanding of digital marketing landscape & channel behaviour is desirable
  • Previous involvement in experimentation programs is desirable
  • Understanding and experience of software development lifecycle is desirable
  • Degree in Science or Business
  • 6-12months experience in either Media or Telco industry
