Facilitating Agile ways of working through thoughtful leadership, effective mentoring, exceedingly good business partnering and compelling communication is the key to a total success in the role of Associate Director in Mobile Engineering.

  • Establish and support driving the engineering vision for our internal customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies that enable the chapter to align to the tools and languages required to improve our systems, optimise operations, and stimulate growth.
  • Define the chapter's objective, best engineering practices, policies, and skill proficiencies.
  • Ensure that the delivered solutions conform to the agreed-upon principles and best methodology while aligning with the Chapter Area and Tribe Quarterly Business Review strategic objectives.

It starts with you!

  • Extensive hands on experience, particularly in telco industry, complimented with exposure to leadership, budgeting, planning and forecasting.
  • Industry certifications in web languages or tools, integration languages; and / or technical people leadership and coaching.
  • Experience in managing teams working on complex products / solutions and capability development projects.
  • Strong understanding of IT risk, information security fundamentals, defence-in-depth practices, IT risk assessment fundamentals and risk management practices.
  • Strong analytical, creative, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, whilst being proficient in Agile methodologies.
  • Direct customer focus with refined communication skills and attention to detail.
