This is a large two-year program to refresh the LAN/WAN/ Wi-Fi platforms onto Aruba technology as well as integrating with the shared common services and Optus management platforms as well as AWS and Zscaler.  All successful candidates will need to be Australian Citizens and be able to be security cleared for the program.

The Change and Release Manager is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of changes to customer systems, infrastructure, and applications while ensuring that releases are planned, tested, and deployed effectively with minimal disruption to business services.

  • Change Management: Manage and maintain the end-to-end IT change management process in alignment with the ITIL framework. Ensure that all changes are logged, assessed, authorized, implemented, and reviewed.
  • Release Management: Work with development, QA, and operations teams to create release schedules, ensuring releases are planned in a way that minimizes risks and disruption.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work closely with other ITIL process owners (e.g., Incident, Problem, and Configuration Management) to ensure seamless integration between processes and overall service delivery.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure that changes and releases comply with internal policies, industry standards, and external regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, GDPR).
  • Change and Release Tools: Manage and configure IT Service Management (ITSM) tool ServiceNow to support the change and release management processes.

  • Proven experience in change and release management, preferably within an ITIL framework.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) for change and release tracking and management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing changes and releases, including experience with coordinating CAB meetings and managing release schedules.
  • You must be an Australian citizen and be eligible for Federal Government security clearance.
