The Digital Planning Lead will play a pivotal role at the centre of our Planning & Forecasting across Digital & CX. You will be Planning and forecasting at scale in a complex delivery environment to ensure digital roadmaps are strategically aligned, prioritised, and effectively delivered across app and web channels.

You will lead quarterly and annual planning across complex ecosystems, ensuring capacity supports Run & Maintain, Minor Change, and larger initiatives.  You’ll bring structure to complexity, clarity to competing priorities, and confidence to leadership decisions. Your success will be evaluated based on precise planning, effective governance, and prompt delivery of digital outcomes aligned with our ambitious business strategy and investment priorities.

 

What You’ll Do | Your day to day will consist of

  • Lead quarterly and annual planning cycles for digital delivery across app and web shaping what we commit to and why while surfacing risks and constraints before they impact delivery.
  • Partner with Process and Delivery Leads, COEs, Product, GTM and Operations to define scope, timelines, dependencies and outcomes and align demand with realistic resourcing and capacity.
  • Create a clear view of team and portfolio commitments, dependencies, risks, and trade‑off decisions align to strategic outcomes.
  • Provide clear and accurate reporting for digital leadership tracking digital KPIS, risks, dependencies, and performance ensuring clear, actionable decisions resolve competing priorities.
  • Lift planning maturity to ensure planning is disciplined and predictable, improving how Digital plans, commits, and executes.
  • Support investment planning, prioritisation, and workforce forecasting.

 

What You Bring | What makes you perfect for the role?

You’re not just organised - you’re decisive, structured, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.

  • 5+ years’ experience planning and forecasting at scale, leading portfolio‑level capacity planning across multiple teams and programs.
  • Confidence navigating senior stakeholders and competing agendas with ability to translate complexity into clear, structured plans and trade‑offs.
  • Deep understanding of how delivery capacity, dependencies, and constraints impact outcomes.
  • Comfortable making difficult decisions to protect teams from noise while enabling the business to move fast when plans are challenged or pressure is high.
  • Advanced analytical and reporting skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management capability.
  • Experience creating or improving planning frameworks, cadences and governance.
