As Innovations and Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Optus Strategic Advisory Board (SAB) and Strategic Technology Forum (STF). You will ensure flawless execution and delivery of these high-value platforms, contributing directly to our business development outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Support planning and logistics for enterprise community and corporate partnerships (e.g., AICC, TTBC), ensuring alignment with sales objectives.
- Coordinate sponsorship activations, positioning Optus executives with priority customers and tracking commercial outcomes.
- Contribute to partnership ROI reporting, measuring leads generated, opportunities influenced, and customer advocacy impact.
- Serve as the ‘SAB & STF Concierge’, managing all communications, enquiries, and touchpoints with executive members to ensure a high-value experience.
- Coordinate logistics and lead all aspects of end-to-end delivery for SAB/STF engagements, including masterclasses, boardroom sessions, global and local study tours, and custom executive experiences.
- Maintain accurate program calendars, run sheets, and action trackers for SAB/STF initiatives, ensuring critical timelines and achievements are met.
- Manage program budgets, including cost forecasting, supplier/vendor negotiations (local and global), and financial reporting to ensure value for money and a strong return on investment.
- Provide executive-level hospitality and customer care, reinforcing Optus’ premium positioning with C-suite customers.
What You Bring
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience delivering executive-level events or programs.
- Demonstrated experience in executive hospitality and concierge-level service for senior collaborators.
- Proven ability to manage complex budgets and negotiate effectively with a range of suppliers and vendors.
- Commercially minded with an understanding of how executive programs and partnerships drive pipeline and revenue growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of succinct executive briefings and reports.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with senior collaborator visibility.
