As a member of the Singtel Optus IoT Sales Team within the Product Group, you will have a support and sales role in positioning, promoting, educating, and selling the full range of IoT solutions. Your focus is ensuring our IoT portfolio is a significant focus within the Optus Enterprise and Business. This includes supporting our Account Executives, State and National Executives to assess, resource and roll out successful product execution across 5G, Edge Cloud and IOT product build activities.

 

A key focus is ensuring the allocated resource toward direct or indirect channel focus and implementation. You will assist your teammates, Account Director, and Sales Director to provide appropriate market intelligence, target opportunities, liaise with direct channels and achieve the targeted financial and qualitative aspects of the role.

 

What You will Do

  • Managing sales pipeline across the related IoT portfolio 
  • Supporting and guiding GTM activities to build sales funnel in allocated areas and priority accounts. 
  • Regular engagement and focus with Product Managers to drive the financial plan and achievement
  • Ensure various internal sales stakeholders are educated, supported, and mentored on the value of the IoT portfolio  
  • Developing Technical expertise to engage with various stakeholders who have varying interests ranging across solution architecture, commercials, budgeting, GTM readiness and Innovation. 
  • Being a Champion across allocated products and represent Optus in external and internal events. 
  • Internal sales enablement to educate and build momentum with the broader workforce to sell connectivity.  
  • Record of enterprise sales and meeting revenue targets YOY.

  • Proven experience in the telecommunication sector in Sales or appropriate Support roles. 
  • Record of managing Budgets, Targets, achieving and exceeding the appropriate plans. 
  • Experience in being a customer champion and understanding latent and desirable requirements that customers might appreciate to make the product more competitive. 
  • Trend Analysis experience to draw actionable insights from market trends and recommend strategies for market leadership.
