This role leads the design and implementation of inventory and service order management solutions that support IP and transport networks. Aligned with the reference architecture and tooling strategy, it bridges business requirements with technical design to enable efficient network build, planning, and operations. The role also provides technical leadership across inventory management and service fulfilment platforms.

Your day to day will consist of

  • Design endtoend inventory management and service order management solutions supporting IP and transport networks.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with domain reference and enterprise architectures.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in inventory, network resource management, and service fulfilment platforms.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams (architects, engineers, developers, vendors) to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Evaluate, prototype, and recommend inventory and service fulfilment technologies through PoCs and feasibility assessments.
  • Define current and target state architectures and develop phased implementation and transition plans.
  • Lead solution implementation and produce comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring alignment with industry standards (TM Forum, ITIL).

 

What makes you perfect for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in solution design or technical consulting, systems integration, or inventory/asset management/service order management systems.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technical solutions in telecommunications or network-intensive environments.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, asset lifecycle management, and service order management solutions.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies including REST APIs, SOAP, ETL tools, and middleware platforms supplemented by an understanding of the networking technologies.
  • Experience in telecommunications, ISP, or large-scale network environments.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
