Join Optus Enterprise in a pivotal leadership role overseeing end-to-end delivery of complex Fixed Voice, Data & IP projects. As Manager – Carriage Fulfilment, you will lead a high-performing team and oversee a portfolio of medium to large projects, ensuring successful, on-time delivery while enhancing customer experience and accelerating revenue outcomes.

Reporting to the Director – Service Fulfilment, you will play a key role in shaping delivery strategy, optimising provisioning processes, and driving continuous improvement across the Carriage Fulfilment function. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, PMO, Network Provisioning and Delivery to ensure seamless execution, strong governance, and aligned business outcomes.

This role is ideal for a strategic and people-focused leader with strong program management expertise and deep understanding of telecommunications networks. You will bring a passion for operational excellence, the ability to influence at all levels, and a track record of improving efficiency, reducing cost-to-serve, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple Fixed Voice, Data & IP projects, from solution design through to customer handover
  • Manage and prioritise a portfolio of Carriage projects to ensure on-time, first-time delivery and early revenue realisation
  • Identify, escalate and resolve risks and issues, driving effective mitigation strategies across programs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Sales, PMO, Network Provisioning and Delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise provisioning processes, reduce cost-to-serve and enhance efficiency
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring strong governance, clear accountability and exceptional customer outcomes

 

What You Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in project/program management or extensive experience managing large-scale operations and complex project portfolios
  • Proven track record delivering multiple concurrent projects with budgets exceeding $5M, achieving strong business and customer outcomes
  • Strong leadership capability with experience motivating and managing cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Expertise in project, program, and change management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci/ADKAR)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels including executive leadership
  • Analytical and forward-thinking mindset, with demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, optimise processes, and deliver measurable efficiencies
