The Resource and Security Officer supports the Services Australia account by ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and client requirements. The role manages personnel security clearances, monitors mandatory training compliance, and controls access to client facilities. It also oversees risk and compliance activities, providing regular reporting, escalation, and stakeholder support to maintain operational security and protect sensitive information.
What You’ll Do
- Manage personnel security clearances, including onboarding, renewals, and cessations for staff and contractors
- Monitor and enforce client-mandated training compliance, ensuring timely completion across the account
- Control and approve access to client-managed facilities, including building passes and data centre access
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on security clearances, training status, and compliance activities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations and internal policies, identifying and mitigating security risks
- Act as a key point of contact, providing guidance, support, and coordination across stakeholders and teams
What You Bring
- Knowledge of security frameworks, including the Protective Security Policy Framework and federal regulatory standards (e.g., ISM, APRA)
- Preferable Certificate IV in Government Security (Personnel Vetting), or equivalent capability
- Experience working within enterprise computing or service delivery environments
- Strong technical and report writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, with experience managing documentation systems
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
