As Senior Director of Cloud Infrastructure, you will guide the strategy, design, engineering, and lifecycle management of our cloud infrastructure. This focuses on the cloud-native frameworks, enabling automation, and supporting intelligent operations to modernize our network services and digital tools.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the development of cloud infrastructure strategy aligned with network modernisation and digital platform objectives, supporting hybrid and cloud‑native environments.
- Work with Architecture and engineering teams to ensure infrastructure platforms support evolving network, OSS, AI, and digital service requirements.
- Support the design and operation of scalable, secure infrastructure platforms, promoting automation, infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD, and container‑based practices.
- Enable reliable and observable infrastructure services through lifecycle management, resilience, performance optimisation, cost transparency, and strong operational practices.
What makes you perfect for the role?
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure engineering and platform architecture (10+ years).
- Strong expertise across public and private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP or equivalent).
- Experience with container platforms, virtualization, infrastructure-as-code, and automation frameworks.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure transformation and cloud migration initiatives.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure requirements supporting telecommunications networks and OSS platforms.
- Experience leading large engineering teams responsible for infrastructure platforms (5+ years leading 30+ people teams).
- Strong vendor and technology partnership management experience.
- Experience leading teams through organizational change, restructures, or significant transformation initiatives.
- Telecommunications industry experience highly desirable, or experience in highly regulated critical infrastructure industries (financial services, government, utilities, healthcare) with 24/7 operational requirements.
