This role is crucial in crafting our digital identity and authentication strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with our broader ID policy.

 

 

Your day in the life of a Digital Product Manager – Digital Identity at Optus

 

  • Continuously finding opportunities to improve and refine Optus’ processes, and rationalising existing assets and procedures.

  • Owning arguments for new features and experiences, ensuring they align with Optus’ strategic goals.

  • Managing Optus' digital identity verification implementations.

  • Engaging with vendors to ensure operational excellence and identifying new integration and advancement opportunities.

  • Driving roadmap alignment between squads within the Digital Community, and across the organization including Product, IT, Finance, and Customer Success.

  • Understanding key cyber security trends to determine roadmap priorities.

  • Collaborating with the Strategy & Performance team of the Digital Connected Experience Community to articulate requirements and necessary capacity from squads.

 

 

To excel in this role, you should have:

 

  • Proven experience in digital product management, particularly in digital identity and authentication.

  • Strong strategic growth mindset with the ability to make commercially focused decisions.

  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage collaborators.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment.

  • A data-driven approach to priorities and decision points.

  • Strong understanding of cyber security trends and their impact on digital identity.
