Optus Business provides a high level of technical support and post-sales delivery services to clients – this involves design, implementation, support and resolution to complex problems relating to network, IP Telephony, security, systems, storage and wireless solutions. The Senior Engineer will provide comprehensive design, solution build/ implementation, scoping and technical support to the sales team as well as assisting and complementing the mid to junior level engineers in a mentoring as well as technical capacity.

This role also encompasses a consultancy and policy components relating to OB network technologies and IP telephony solutions.

 

 

What You will Do

  •  Deliver end-to-end systems and network engineering solutions, including analysis, design, implementation, testing and ongoing   maintenance.
  •  Provide technical leadership during project delivery, ensuring smooth migrations and high-quality execution.
  •  Collaborate closely with implementation teams, project managers and customers to align designs, scope and expectations.
  •  Manage and resolve complex technical issues, offering high-level support and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  •  Maintain rigorous communication standards, ensuring accurate reporting, timely updates and exceptional customer service.
  •  Adhere to organisational quality, project management and utilisation standards, including timely administration such as timesheets and   service call closure.
  •  Contribute to pre-sales activities through accurate scoping, solution review and effort estimation.
  •  Continuously develop technical capability through certifications, knowledge sharing and participation in training and vendor sessions.
