The Senior Solution Designer at Deployment and Enablement leads the design of scalable, user-centric solutions that enhance digital experiences and business process efficiency. The role ensures alignment between business objectives, existing platforms, and ServiceNow-based solutions, including the Network Deployment Support System (NDSS). Working closely with stakeholders, business analysts, developers, testers, and reporting teams, the role drives solution design, process improvement, and adherence to technical and functional standards. The position also supports capability development through mentoring and fostering technical excellence across the team
Your day to day will consist of
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Deployment Workflow Systems and reporting platforms, enabling effective program delivery, budget management, operational governance, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, validate, and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Design and deliver ServiceNow-based solutions, including scope definition, effort estimation, technical design, development support, testing, and implementation of new capabilities and enhancements.
- Drive process improvement and business transformation through process mapping, gap analysis, workflow re-engineering, integration design, KPI development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and change adoption, including communications, training, change management activities, CAB engagement, risk management, and post-production support to maximise user adoption and business value.
- Enhance reporting and business intelligence capabilities by developing dashboards, self-service reporting solutions, data integration strategies, and documentation while mentoring teams and supporting technical capability development.
What makes you perfect for the role
- Degree-qualified professional in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, with significant experience in solution design, enterprise systems, and digital transformation roles.
- 7+ years of ServiceNow expertise spanning solution architecture, development, and implementation across ITBM, SPM, CSM, ITSM, ITOM, and Integration Hub, including workflow automation, orchestration, reporting, and platform customisation.
- Strong technical architecture and integration capability, with hands-on experience in ServiceNow workflows, JavaScript, custom UIs, MID Servers, REST/SOAP web services, B2B integrations, microservices, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integrations.
- Proven business transformation experience, delivering Digital, SaaS, and Enterprise Software initiatives through business process analysis, gap assessments, solution design, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Advanced development and engineering skills across modern technologies including Java, Node.js, React, Angular, HTML5, CSS, JSON, and related development frameworks and tools.
- Strong Agile delivery and data expertise, with experience in Scrum methodologies, design thinking, data integration, ETL processes, reporting, infrastructure, and business intelligence solutions.
- Senior-level stakeholder and consulting capability, including ServiceNow certification, telecommunications industry experience, change management knowledge, detailed technical documentation skills, and the ability to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies with a commercial focus.
