About the role


The Tribe Operations & Engagement Lead will help us develop and maintain operational excellence within the Digital Connected Experience Tribe. Working with Chapter Leads to establish onboarding supporting materials for new Tribe members, the Operations and Engagement lead will support with planning monthly, quarterly and yearly financial activity including CAPEX & OPEX planning. This role will be working within a fast-paced agile environment in Optus’ Digital Connected Experience Tribe and be at the frontier of digital innovation at Optus.


The Digital Connected Experience Tribe’s purpose is to deliver simple, intuitive and innovative digital experiences which engages our customers, services their needs, increases revenue, reduces inbound contacts and sets Optus as a market leader in digital delivery.


Key Role and Responsibilities:


  • Drive Tribe Engagement outcomes with the Tribe members
  • Ongoing financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Contribution to AOP planning
  • Ensuring Tribe and Squad personnel profiles are kept up to date including financial profiles, team lists etc.

About you

You are an expert in the Operations and Engagement field who possess' the below experience and knowledge:


  • Substantial proven experience in Agile ways of working in a similar role within large teams managing multi-million dollar budgets
  • Strong experience driving employee engagement and operational excellence
  • Highly organised, with attention to detail, analytical, written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrates and leads positively, within a constantly evolving, challenging environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Suite skills particularly Excel & Powerpoint
