We’re looking for a Vendor Channel Programs Manager to lead the creation and rollout of vendor training initiatives across major device brands, including Apple, Samsung, and Google, within consumer channels.

This role is key to driving brand advocacy, improving frontline product knowledge, and ensuring smooth integration into device launches during our Go-To-Market (GTM) activities. You’ll work closely with vendor partners and internal collaborators to develop and deliver training and ambassador programs that bring the device experience to life for both our frontline teams and customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and scale vendor ambassador programs in partnership with leading device brands, ensuring alignment with GTM messaging and customer experience outcomes.
  • Drive channel & customer experience excellence by embedding vendor requirements into enablement and execution planning.
  • Ensure operational readiness through engaging training materials, e-learning content, workshops, and in-store activations.
  • Manage training store visit reporting and maintain a national training calendar aligned with product launch roadmaps.
  • Analyse program performance using data-driven insights to optimise engagement, efficiency, and return on investment.
  • Maintain frontline compliance & standards across vendor requirements, messaging, and merchandising.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years’ experience in postpaid devices sales/marketing within Telco.
  • Proven success in national program implementation and driving operational outcomes across multi-channel businesses.
  • Strong collaborator management and ability to influence at senior leadership levels.
  • High-level project & program management skills with strong commercial competence.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Think Cell, and Microsoft applications.

The good stuff…

  • Competitive remuneration and colleague discounts. Make life easier (and more affordable) with $80 monthly credit and 25% off Optus products and outstanding shopping discounts with our retail partners.
  • Flexible working arrangements with opportunities to work three days in the office, two days remote or home.
  • Vibrant and collaborative office campus that includes cafes, convenience store, chill out zones, GP, post office, gym and on-site childcare centre.
  • Competitive leave policies, including additional 'Connected’ days to focus on culture, family, health, community, or whatever’s important to you.
  • We support growing families with inclusive, carer-neutral paid Parental Leave of up to 16 weeks.
  • Direct your own development and build future-ready skills with Optus U’s industry-focused micro-credentials, developed with La Trobe and Macquarie Universities.
  • Build meaningful connections through colleague-led networks and diversity initiatives including Culture Connect, Elevate Women, Disability Network and Express Yourself (LGBTQIA+).
  • Put your wellbeing first with free access to counselling and support services, 24/7 — in-person, by phone, SMS, or video.
  • Free Optus bus from Macquarie University Metro Station (every 6-8 minutes); morning and afternoon.
