Make an Impact by:

1. Audits and Compliance:

  • To participate in audits that can be conducted by internal or external parties.
  • To ensure operations and systems are compliant to policies set by Singtel / authorities.
  • Ensure off-boarded, transferred etc, staff’s access is removed as per schedule.

 

As part of Internal Audit’s requirement imposed in 2021, to maintain an auditable trail of the following:

  • Annual Card Access System user validity for Singtel Group (approx. 6,000 staff) review to ensure the floor approvers are current and inactive personnel card details are removed in system, for all commercial sites, special infrastructure sites and critical rooms.
  • Access list for all doors must be sent to responsible parties for verification.

 

2. Security Operations

  • To manage the execution and KPIs for the Security Guarding Contract.
  • To maintain currency of Security Operations SOP and incident escalation procedures.
  • To maintain currency for site specific guarding and incident escalation SOP.
  • Ensure security service vendors’ deployment of officers do not breach Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations on work hours and overtime work requirements.
  • Investigate security officer lapses and engage security service vendors to rectify matters and ensure service quality levels and to issue and monitor liquidated damages to security service vendors for lapses as stated in contract specification.

 

3.Events Management

  • Manage and coordinate security operations during Singtel events such as Annual General Meeting (AGM).
  • Liaise with various stakeholders of events which include staff, vendors, and VIPs

 

4.Pass Office Operations

  • Responsible for the day-day management of Pass Office
  • Carrying out monthly audit on restricted areas to ensure all accesses after operating hours are valid
  • Ensure off-boarded staff’s access is removed on his/her last day of service.

5. Staff Returning Data

  • Providing staff returning data when required.   

 

 

 

Skills for Success:

  • Diploma in Security Management or related fields.
  • 10 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance of access control, video surveillance and intruder alarm systems.
  • Ability to work and foster relationships with colleagues across the division, business units and group.
  • Team player and able to work in cross-functional teams eg: Facilities, Workplace Safety etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
