Be part of a high performing team working closely with our JV partner Grab to build a digibank from ground zero.  You will work closely across and with all the Singtel Businesses (SG Consumer, Group Enterprise, NCS and our regional associates) to build a bespoke and unique digibank ecosystem with the opportunity to work on overseas projects as the digibank expands regionally.  You will originate and execute strategic value creation initiatives for new growth businesses  and ensure our ST’s ecosystems (including our telco associates) are well engaged and prioritized within the digital bank teams to develop and support ecosystem specific product use cases together with the respective teams across the banks and ST  and our associates/partners.

Make An Impact By

• Work closely with the digibank senior management team , especially the finance team
• Understand and review business proposals, forecasts and budgets and work with the digibank to develop appropriate key performance indicators
• Monitor and analyse the business and financial performance of the digibank which includes:
  • Financial Reporting – Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reporting of the business performance, including preparation of management reports, analysis of the business & financial trends and outlook
  • Performance Analysis – monitor KPIs & progress towards targets, analyse performance against competitors/industry
• Build relationships with key decision makers at the digibank, business partners, government agencies and other shareholders
• Support the operational requirements of the digibank, including briefings and administrative and logistical support for our Singtel Board representatives
• Provide support on key strategic matters (including M&A transactions) for the digibank (in Singapore and across SEA)
  • Design and review financial models, as well as conduct due diligence for transactional related work
• Work with the digibank management team to review and develop the business strategy
• Review, analyse and acquire a good understanding of the digibanking industry and the regulatory trends to assist in key strategic decision-making
• Drive the program management for our Singtel business units and ensure each workstream objectives as defined in the areas of responsibility, and that necessary activities are executed promptly
• Work with senior members of the team to originate and execute strategic value creation initiatives for new growth businesses  which includes originating, developing and analyzing new business cases / partnerships for new growth businesses
• Work closely with team members to launch new markets including business development to identify new JV / partners / investors and drive the overall transaction execution

Skills To Succeed

• Degree in Accounting / Business / Finance
• Min 3 years of experience in Investment Bank / Big Four / Regional Businesses / Financial Planning & Analysis functions / Fintechs / Digibanks / Tech 
• Knowledge of accounting standards and finance matters
• Knowledge and experience in business valuation and financial modelling would be a plus
• Understanding of banking and telco regulatory environment and policies
• Strong project management skills, being organised and disciplined, showing attention to detail, and following up skills to ensure the right impacts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build good rapport and collaborative working relationships with all levels of staff
• Ability to work independently and play a hands-on role and exercise flexibility in a challenging and fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide strategic direction and advice
• A strong team player, organised and meticulous
• Having a growth mindset is critical
