The Manager, GDC Business Management provides business, financial, and performance management support across the STT Global Data Centres (STT GDC) portfolio.

The role supports strategy execution, performance monitoring, governance processes, and value creation initiatives across GDC portfolio. The incumbent is accountable for delivering accurate analysis, disciplined reporting, and timely support to management processes within established governance and financial frameworks.

  • Be the key liaison and strategic thought partner for the assigned regional associate, with strong macroeconomic awareness and a deep understanding of the associate’s geographic and operating environment.
  • Portfolio management of the assigned regional associate at the strategic and operational level by reviewing business proposals and putting forth insights and recommendation for next best course of actions.
  • Review, analyze and acquire good understanding of the business, industry, regulatory trends and developments of the assigned regional associate to provide the board representatives with guidance, analysis and insights to ensure alignment with Singtel’s strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze business and financial performance of regional associates. Regular cadence with Singtel C-suites for performance update:
  • Financial reporting - Monthly and quarterly financial reporting
  • Financial forecast and budgeting - Periodic financial forecasts and trending, outer year projections and annual operating plan (AOP) budgeting
  • Operational performance reporting - Tracking and analysis of key operational metrics and progress towards targets
  • Performance benchmarking with industry and other regional associates
  • Support and collaborate with Singtel Group Finance for group reporting, financial planning & analysis and accounting issue resolution.
  • Track and analyse operational and financial performance, including key operational KPIs, OPEX, CAPEX, and ROIC, identifying risks and performance-improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with GDC Finance teams and Group Finance to support accurate reporting, forecast alignment, and resolution of accounting or reporting issues.
  • Review and support analysis of business proposals, investment cases, and strategic initiatives, including financial modelling and evaluation.
  • Support value creation initiatives focused on cost efficiency, capital discipline, and operational performance improvement across GDC entities.
  • Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and industry research to support strategic reviews, growth initiatives, and investment assessments within the data centre sector.
  • Support operational requirements of assigned GDC entities, including preparation of briefing materials and administrative and logistical coordination for Board and Board sub-committee meetings (e.g. Audit Committee).
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and corporate functions to ensure alignment with Group standards, processes, and controls.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (e.g. M&A, Group Legal, Group Tax, Group Treasury etc) and external advisors (e.g. investment bankers, consultants etc) to review financial models, valuations, M&A transactions and conduct due diligence or business reviews as and when required.
  • Track management and Board-approved action items, following up with stakeholders to support timely execution and closure.
  • Liaise with corporate secretary to spearhead corporate affairs of investment holding company of the assigned regional associate including compliance and control, administrative support, etc.

 

 

Skills for Success

 

 

  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related disciplines
  • 6–8 years’ relevant experience in business management, corporate finance, FP&A, or performance management
  • Strong financial analysis, modelling, and business case evaluation skills
  • Good understanding of accounting standards, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of the local regulatory environment and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build good rapport and collaborative working relationships with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to work independently and play a hands-on role and exercise flexibility in a challenging and fast-paced environment
  • A strong team player
  • Ability to converse in Indonesian
