Your day to day will consist of...

In this role you will engage our business units and further their strategic and commercial objectives through your engagement with government on key policy issues.

You will assist in the development and delivery of the Government Affairs Strategy. Responsible for managing the resolution of electorate issues and customer complaints raised by Members of Parliament. You will also assist Optus in the management of various government funding programs.

 

What makes you perfect for the role?

  • Specialist with a strong understanding of government processes and experience in policy development, analysis and advocacy. Prior experience in corporate and political environments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management, critical thinking and stakeholder engagement skills are crucial
  • Naturally, strong advocacy and analytical skills are essential prerequisites, together with excellent communications skills – both written and verbal.
