Responsibilities:

  • Including supporting customer/sales in response to Request for Info (RFI)/ Request for Proposal (RFP)
  • Well versed in all aspects and layers of IT Security (from physical layer, to OS/DB/App, Network, security)
  • Ensure department’s systems comply with all Singtel IT Security policies (e.g., Processes, Security, Privacy, etc.)
  • Support all audits based on these policies

Plan and follow up on remediation for any non-compliance from audits.

  • Support/Manage IT projects - e.g.
    • review, plan and execute annual VAPT and ITDR for all systems
    • Plan and execute tech refresh, upgrades, new initiatives, etc.
    • Manage IT Security vendors
    • Managed IT Security assets (Both software and hardware)
  • Support the department digitization efforts, advising the team on all IT Security aspects of
    • Process optimization
    • Automation, including use of scripting/bots, AI/ML where possible
  • Implement and support BI, big data, analytics, Enhanced/Automated SLA reporting
  • Support optimization of energy use (support Green initiatives)
  • Owner and administrator of all firewall and security appliances/assets.
  • Management and administration of Datacenter network, including IP allocation, firewalls. Switches, routers, security, LAN/WAN connections, tech refresh, integration, and migration.
  • Training and education of Ops Team on IT and system/network security
  • Implement Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning for data center systems. Scope includes
  • Data collection,
  • Integration with various data center systems
  • Training of AI engine,
  • Training of Ops team to use and operate the AI/ML engine.
  • Using the engine to
    • identify inefficiencies in Resource utilization
    • Improve and optimize energy/power consumption
    • Assist in failure prediction (Predictive rather than reactive Management)
    • Assist in identifying policy violations (e.g. security and access violations)
    • Possible integration between access control and CCTV
    • AI with biometric (e.g. facial recognition)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber security-related field or equivalent discipline.
  • Good understanding of networking protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS
  • Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing network architecture and components (LAN, WAN, routers, switches, load balancers, DNS, DHCP, network packet brokers, wireless, NAC, VPN etc)
  • Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in managing network security devices (NextGen Firewalls, IDS, IPS, UTM, SIEM, SOAR etc)
  • Strong programming for scripting and automation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of personnel and stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail, verbal/written communication skills, and strong organization and time management skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously under general supervision.
  • Independent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum of five (3) years of relevant Security Operation Centre management experience.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CND, CCNA, VMware are preferred
