We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager, Innovation Hub to join Tesseract. In this role, you will drive strategy planning, research, project management, business development, and operations to support Tesseract’s strategic objectives. Reporting to the Innovation Hub Director, you will collaborate with stakeholders across and beyond the organization to ensure alignment with our vision. You will also work in an agile team to create an immersive and engaging experience for clients, both virtually and in person.

 

What will you do?

Client Workshops

  • Support the overall strategy and objectives by advancing client discussions from business development to actionable business opportunities for the organisation.
  • Coordinate various types of workshops and events (virtual, physical, hybrid), overseeing all aspects from planning and preparation to execution and post-event reporting.
  • Assist with research specific to client workshops.
  • Contribute to the efficient daily operations of Tesseract.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive quarterly reports.

 

Innovation Ecosystem Engagement

  • Engage with key players in the innovation ecosystem.
  • Assist in identifying and analyzing innovation trends and insights.
  • Propose and support the introduction of relevant and impactful use cases to NCS and Tesseract.
  • Identify and support opportunities for collaboration between NCS and Tesseract.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 3-5 years of Sales and/or Business Development experience, with a proven track record in driving growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and executing workshops and events (virtual, physical, hybrid).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including planning and executing several client workshops in parallel.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think creatively and view challenges from multiple perspectives, constantly challenging norms to identify the most effective solutions.
  • Deep passion for technology and innovation.
  • Proven experience in managing diverse stakeholders and building collaborative relationships.
  • Exceptional team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to think on your feet and act quickly in dynamic environments.
  • Comfortable presenting and engaging with large audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create comprehensive reports on client engagements, including demos and opportunities.
  • Familiarity with startup ecosystems and working with startup companies is highly preferred.
  • Experience in engaging with the innovation ecosystem is a plus.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and Design Thinking methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience in consulting practices is a plus.
  • Event planning experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) with strong technical aptitude.
