As a Manager, Interconnect, you will be responsible for managing, plans, maintains and implements changes to Singtel’s interconnection network. Manage operational/technical procedures, licensees and operators with regard to interconnect and regulatory requirements/matters.

 

Make an Impact by 

 

  • Plans, maintains and implements changes to Singtel’s interconnection network
  • Coordinates across departments to detail workflows and network operational procedures. Operational procedures include site visits to Exchange premises/ Cable stations and handle Common Duct Network
  • Preparation of reports to regulator(s) and assist with and/or prepare submissions with regard to regulatory requirements and public/closed consultations
  • Interaction with regulators/operators/licensees through calls, meetings etc. to manage the various stakeholders and issues
  • Participate in industry working groups e.g. number portability, tunnels meetings.
  • Coordinate with finance and billing departments to work out details and workflow on billing and settlement
  • Bills operators for interconnect charges, handle billing verification and monitor payment status
  • Coordinate with IT/Product to work out required new system specifications and functionalities
  • Draft/manage correspondences, Agreements or Contracts
  • Manage call detail records and documentation for billing and operational procedures
  • Engage in technical discussion/negotiation with licensees
  • Process the orders and transactions from/ with other licensees and handle day to day operation work
  • Work cohesively with the team members and cross department to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are completed according to schedule

 

Skills for Success

  • Degree in Engineering (any fields) or equivalent qualifications in Telecommunications
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience or knowledge/understanding of telecommunications and infrastructure fixed, wireless, internet etc
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
