Job Scope 

  • Grow payment capabilities and cross-network merchant acceptance by leveraging dominant payment schemes, including managing and enhancing the Dash Visa Virtual Account service for improved product features, service quality and commercial pricings for online, contactless and chip-based payments, both locally and internationally.
  • Transform Dash into a Payments x Lifestyle app by curating and providing relevant in-app financial and e-commerce mini-apps through integration with partner APIs and HTML-based services.
  • Expand Dash payment-to-merchant acceptance via integration with strategic partners, mid-to-low tier merchants and micro-merchants.
  • Formulate product vision and strategy; identify milestones and manage the execution.
  • Develop new and dynamically adapt existing mobile payment product features by analysing and eliciting business strategies and insights, and translating them into useful, relevant and innovative product features that delight customers and position Singtel Dash for substantial growth. 
  • Define, articulate and document requirements and manage product feature delivery as agile projects, in collaboration with business, marketing, sales, technology/engineering, user experience, operations, customer care, finance and compliance teams.
  • Work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams in a highly dynamic, collaborative environment, challenging status quos while appreciating risk and compliance. 
  • Set up end-to-end business processes with the goal of achieving outstanding customer experience and operational efficiency, without compromising security and compliance requirements.
  • Provide test plans and monitor performance of new and existing features.
  • Keep abreast of new product offerings / service developments in existing and adjacent markets; assess opportunities and threats to our business; and plan for remedial actions to retain our competitive edge for continued growth towards market dominance.
  • Provide senior management with clear, succinct and actionable updates regularly.

 

The Ideal Candidate should possess the following: 

  • Degree in Computing / Information Technology / Information Systems / Engineering  and related disciplines from reputable institutions.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of mobile app functionality and user experience (including development concepts, API capabilities, UX methodologies, user behaviours and underlying technical architecture of mobile apps).
  • Relevant experience in the mobile commerce/banking/payments industry and strong technical knowledge in mobile app development, frontend, middle-layer and backend architectures and EMV card issuance and processing preferred.
  • Relevant experience and an excellent track record in managing the end-to-end product development life cycle of mobile apps preferred. 
  • Experience with a variety of native, hybrid and web-based mobile platforms, devices and operating systems, with keen knowledge of their capabilities, pros and cons.
  • Experience in vendor management; and handling and delivering multiple projects.
  • Savvy with mobile payment products, services and technologies, and well-informed on mobile fintech innovations and digital payment trends. 
  • Entrepreneurial, start-up, or corporate innovation experience are good-to-have’s.
