We are looking for a passionate Product Owner (PO) in digital transformation with experience in the mobile commerce/banking/financial service industry. Relevant hands-on experience and related technical knowledge in product development will be a plus point.  Individual who aspires to implement digital and channel agnostic products with highest quality standards.

 

The PO is accountable for the success and all aspects of the product delivery, to ensures that business requirements are adequately addressed in the project and there is smooth transition to BAU.

 

The PO is responsible for:

  • Understanding of the stakeholder requirement and prioritize MVP (functions/features) with alignment to the product roadmap
  • Creating and maintaining user story/requirement/acceptance criteria, sprint goal/MVP, prioritization of product backlog
  • Ensuring the agile team members understand items in the product backlog and sprint goal/MVP that the product need to achieve
  • Work with scrum master/product delivery manager to ensure on timeline/release plan
  • Ensuring timely updates to stakeholders or committees personally or via scrum master (status reports, steering committee, change control committee)
  • Ensuring project deliverables are of the desired quality and have appropriate endorsements/ signoffs
  • Ensure relevant documentation/training will be conducted to ensure smooth transition to BAU.
  • Owning the sprint review and retrospective together with scrum master to help the team with continuous improvement
  • Accountable for risk management of the product roadmap/product delivery by identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks.
  • Ability to understand regulatory/governance framework, requirement and work with internal stakeholders and local regulators to address governance issues.
     

Requirements:

  • Engineering or Computer Science degree.
  • More than 3 years of direct working experience in a payment service provider or payment network environment.
  • In-depth understanding of the regulatory compliance requirements for payment systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of the security requirements and implementation methodology for payment systems.
  • End-to-end business and operation support process design.
  • Relevant experience in the mobile commerce/banking/payments industry and strong technical knowledge in mobile app development, frontend, middle-layer and backend architectures and EMV card issuance and processing preferred.
