Responsibilities

  1. Retail Design Planning and Execution
  • Perform interior store design assignments that include conceptual design, design development, space planning, customer journey mapping and construction documentation of new stores/concept, including pop up stores, new formats and space optimization initiatives
  • Support store executions and openings of design projects, working on all project design stages
  • Merchandising space planning, design curation and display solutions of branded retail environments to ensure quality and consistency in execution
  • Assortment & Space Optimization – create and maintain planograms for categories assigned, according to merchandising and display guidelines to improve overall sales productivity, maximize shelf availability and enhance experience through improved product navigation
  • Design and visualize event spaces to support brand marketing activities and execution
  • Collaborate with landlords, retail channel teams and partners; contractors and regulatory agencies to create holistic design solutions and to achieve project objectives

 

2. Communications

  • Lead and develop in-store + campaign communication brief to develop creative assets towards selling of the products/services/merchandise, maximise exposure and return on in-store activation investment
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Marcom on development of specific visual assets, including graphics and video to drive engagement and awareness
  • Working closely with teams across the business – Marcom, Brand Partnership teams to build monthly retail campaign and content calendar, ensuring it is aligned with our commercial marketing campaigns and giving space to key launches and brand campaigns
  • Optimize the production of creative assets, ensuring assets are delivered on time and making process efficiencies
  • Simplify communication content, structure and delivery to ensure that language used is clear, consistent and in line with brand guidelines

 

3. Brand Campaign Activation & Experience

  • Partner with Marcom, PM, Product to deliver experiences & service journey and co-created product and experience at retail stores to generate awareness, drive traffic and sales and engagement
  • Concept creative ideas for brand campaigns and working with agency and internal stakeholders to deliver exciting brand moments
  • Assist in conceptualizing, developing and executing retail thematic campaigns and seasonal festivals (e.g. Christmas and Chinese New Year) and other key initiatives
  • Track and reviews campaign and in-store activation program effectiveness

 

Requirements for the position

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications or Retail Marketing Experience
  • Experience in store planning and designing for retail spaces, with good knowledge for merchandise
  • Creative and attention to details while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interpret complex, technical content and provide creative direction to agencies/designers for concept, design development and content creation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong project management and execution skills to deliver by set deadlines
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time, and under pressure and to meet set deadlines
