PVP Esports is an esports platform established by Singtel’s International Group (IG) in 2018. PVP Esports currently comprises regional esports tournaments, gaming-related content IPs and digital assets including our PVP Esports website, channels on streaming platforms and social media channels.

We are looking to hire a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our Digital Entertainment team, focusing mainly on business development and partnerships with regional telco and esports partners, game developers and publishers, brand partners and government organizations to drive gaming-related engagement and content creation. Our goal is to build the PVP Esports brand and create an inclusive, regional esports ecosystem to engage and excite fans, players, and partners. 
 

 

Responsibilites

 

  • Maintain a deep understanding and intimate knowledge of global and local esports industry and insights (i.e., industry trends, game titles, players, teams, content creators, brand partnerships in esports etc.) and identify opportunities to bring in additional value to the PVP Esports platform and programs.
  • Play key role in establishing contact with and engaging potential partners, driving discussion progress, negotiating key partnership terms and commercial agreements, with the objective to expand PVP Esports brand, monetization, viewership, and engagement across Asia.
  • Account management of existing and new clients for PVP Esports sponsorship, including cross-department coordination for planning, tracking, and execution of event and campaign KPIs.
  • Procure gaming-related deals / deals attractive to gamers and branded e-tournaments for publishing on the PVP Esports website to drive user sign-ups and engagement on the PVP Esports website and social media channels.
  • Provide support to prepare and collate presentation materials and management reports relating to projects under the Digital Entertainment team. In addition, prepare pre-meeting briefs, meeting notes, management updates and papers, term sheets and partnership tracking for Digital Entertainment projects.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

 

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

  • A good degree from reputable university with focus on Business / Marketing.
  • More than 3 years of relevant working experience in partnerships, project management, marketing esports, or business management.
  • Good commercial mindset to identify opportunities and alliances.
  • Experience in dealing with partnerships / business development.
  • Enterprising and entrepreneurial leadership skills.
  • Experience structuring and negotiating commercial deals.
  • Team player and ability to influence other business functions.
  • Results oriented.with an eye for details.
  • Work independently and play a hands-on role in exercising flexibility in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management and account management skills with the ability to drive planning, schedules, budgeting, resource management, collaboration, and status reporting.
