The Manager, Supplier Lifecycle & Governance is responsible for managing the end-to-end supplier lifecycle across onboarding, master data governance, digital enablement, and supplier risk oversight within KL GBS.
This role ensures suppliers are onboarded efficiently, maintained accurately across procurement and ERP systems, and continuously monitored for governance and risk compliance. The incumbent oversees supplier data integrity across platforms (e.g., Ivalua, SAP, AcuBuy), drives adherence to internal policies and third-party risk requirements, and ensures operational excellence in supplier lifecycle management.
Acting as the central point of accountability for supplier onboarding governance and ongoing risk oversight, the role partners closely with Procurement, IT, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to strengthen supplier controls, improve data accuracy, and enhance transparency across the supplier base.

- Supplier Onboarding & Lifecycle Management
- Lead end-to-end supplier onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with governance, documentation, and system requirements.
- Oversee migration of suppliers from legacy systems to designated procurement platforms.
- Establish and continuously improve standardized onboarding and lifecycle management procedures.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and validation of supplier data prior to activation in systems.
- Drive supplier adoption of digital procurement platforms, including e-invoicing and P2P processes.
- Support UAT, data harmonization, and supplier-related system enhancements.
- Maintain supplier portal content, training materials, and process documentation
- Vendor Master Data Governance
- Oversee vendor master data integrity across procurement and ERP systems (e.g., Ivalua, SAP, AcuBuy).
- Review and approve supplier onboarding submissions to ensure policy and documentation compliance.
- Manage vendor data amendments, duplicate vendor resolution, and master data harmonization.
- Establish robust BAU controls for vendor maintenance and change management.
- Conduct periodic data quality reviews to identify gaps and control weaknesses.
3. Supplier Risk Management & Compliance
- Execute supplier risk assessments during onboarding and periodic reviews of active suppliers.
- Identify, assess, and document supplier risks and control gaps.
- Collaborate with contract owners, sourcing teams, and governance functions to conduct supplier reviews.
- Monitor supplier risk indicators and escalate high-risk cases appropriately.
- Track remediation plans and ensure timely closure of identified risk issues.
- Deliver supplier risk dashboards and reporting to management.
4. Monitoring, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain dashboards tracking supplier onboarding progress, risk exposure, and compliance metrics.
- Analyze supplier lifecycle data to identify trends, red flags, and process improvement opportunities.
- Provide regular updates and insights to management and key stakeholders.
- Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and control effectiveness.
- Support Activities (UAT, harmonization and migration) for Supplier Information Management (SIM) and other relevant projects
5. Stakeholder Management & Service Delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier lifecycle governance matters
- Partner with Procurement, IT, Finance/AP, Risk, and Compliance teams to align policies and operational execution.
- Provide advisory support to internal users and suppliers on lifecycle processes and governance requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and resolution sessions to address onboarding or compliance issues.
- Coordinate with other Singtel/NCS teams e.g. vendor master and IT to harmonize duplicate vendor IDs
- Support supplier queries on PO, GRS and Invoices and liaise with respective departments making sure the suppliers’ queries are closed
Skills for Success
- Degree in Supply Chain/ Commerce / Business or similar
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement operations, vendor management, supplier governance, risk management, or compliance
- Experience working in shared services or regional support environments
- Exposure to supplier onboarding and digital procurement platforms
- Experience with e-procurement systems (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with catalog management and PR-to-PO workflows.
- Strong experience working with suppliers in a customer capacity
- Excellent analytical and risk assessment abilities
- Process Discipline: Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in processing transactions.
