As a Manager, Procurement, you will enhance NCS Group's procurement capabilities, foster strong supplier relationships, and drive sustainable procurement initiatives in alignment with our strategic goals.

 

What will you do?

Strategy Development and Implementation

  • Co-develop and implement category strategies in cooperation with internal stakeholders to drive best value and effective sourcing outcomes supporting business strategic and operational objectives.
  • Deliver competitive advantage through cost savings, lifecycle value generation, demand management.
  • Develop data insights to build market intelligent capabilities to steer Go-To-Market Plans in cooperation with partners and suppliers.

 

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management

  • Engage with stakeholders across all NCS entities (including NCS Geographical Units) to understand business needs, ensure that procurement policy and guidelines support the NCS' needs, and that Procurement best practice is embedded as part of ways of working.
  • Stakeholder Management and Business Partnering: Build and develop business relationships with stakeholders across NCS Group aiming to foster cooperation and uplift value creation as internal business partner while maintaining strong governance and integrity of NCS’ procurement process.

 

Tender Evaluation and Risk Assessment

  • Evaluate tenders based on specification and evaluation criteria, prepares acceptance documentation and advises on contracts and service level agreements.
  • Perform L1 activities related to Supplier Due Diligence and Supplier Risk Management.

 

Sustainability and Compliance

  • Drive Sustainable Procurement initiatives in line with NCS Sustainability strategy.
  • Review of purchase requests including sourcing and negotiations, governance and compliance.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are fully documented and followed.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 5-10 years of procurement commercial experience and managing supplier relationships
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (has an added advantage)
  • Proven track record of commercial acumen, cost management analysis and negotiation
  • Proven track record in the management of business improvement initiatives / process development
  • Experience in working with and influencing cross functional teams
  • Negotiation, stakeholder management, and business partnering skills
  • Ability to analyse procurement spend data, market categories, spend information and develop procurement strategy
  • Knowledge of supplier risk management programs
  • Experience in assessing supplier risks
  • Experience / knowledge of using SAP, Power BI and Ivalua
  • Experience in procurement operations and strong understanding of procurement processes
  • Change management skills and personal agility
  • Relevant diploma or degree
