Network Engineer (#5G)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering network solutions for PSA that involves Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load-balancers, Packet brokers, Wireless controllers and APs
  • Responsible for the deployment of Cisco ACI and SDA solutions in the client environment
  • Able to configure and troubleshoot a DMVPN network
  • Provide support in handling complex issues related to network delivery, identify the root cause and implement permanent solutions within the project cycle.
  • Able to troubleshoot and deploy solutions to various equipment such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points etc. within the project cycle.
  • Support the expansion, upgrades and roll-outs of new network infrastructure involving hardware such as routers and switches, associated software, network monitoring and management systems within the scope of work.
  • Prepare statistical reports on network and equipment performance.
  • Analyze IP network performance upon delivery and take proactive actions and preventive measures to monitor and enhance the network performance including software and hardware upgrades, etc. within the project cycle.
  • Provide technical documentation support to Project & Solutions Teams, as well as hand over as-built system documentation to Maintenance support team
  • Assist in preparation of proposals and solution presentations.
  • Liaise and coordinate with various vendors and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide project updates



  • Degree in Computer / Electronics Engineering, or any other relevant discipline.
  • With a minimum of 5 years' experience in a project support or delivery role.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise network solutions and technologies
  • Good understanding of IP network protocols like OSPF, BGP, QoS, VLAN, STP, DMVPN.
  • Candidates with experience with Meraki, Cisco SDA and ACI solutions is a plus
  • Candidates with at least CCNP level certification or its equivalent.
  • Possess good working knowledge in Cisco and/or Juniper routers architecture.
  • Possess good analytical and trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification.
  • Possess good project management and communication skills.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
