Telco+, is a joint initiative (created as a new Strategic Business Unit) between Singtel and NCS to help telcos address their transformation needs to evolve into future digital telcos. The aim is to help telcos improve on operational efficiency and leverage insights-driven data to deliver enhanced customer experiences as well as to provide them enhanced capabilities to serve their enterprise customer segments. Position Summary

 

Reporting into Governance & Operations Lead, the Governance & Operations Lead will partner with Business Leaders (Client Service Leads (CSL) / Client Delivery Leads (CDL)/ Delivery Leads) to manage the overall profitability of the all projects in Telco+.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Providing financial data to the stakeholders to manage the financial performance of the Key Account, including monthly management reporting of the actual vs forecast and analytical review of the performance against forecast, budget, and prior year.
  • Supporting the stakeholders in ensuring timely and accurate updates of pipelines, billings, revenue forecast, etc, and highlighting risk and suggest mitigation and gap closure plans.
  • Partnering with Client Service Lead (CSL), Client Delivery Lead (CDL), Delivery Lead (DL) in reviewing the project financial for projects under Watchlist to ensure projections are optimized and aligned with assumptions.
  • Partnering with the respective CSL/ CDL in formulating the annual budgets related to the Key Account.
  • Providing advisory and interpretation of accounting standards, policy and procedures to the relevant stakeholders of the Key Accounts.
  • Review, streamline, standardize and recommend new or improvements to processes or systems to enhance financial management, operational efficiency, effectiveness, compliance and controls.
  • Tracking to closure on financial discrepancies with CSL/ CDL/ DL.

 

Requirements

 

  • At least an Accounting degree / Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in financial analysis and management reporting Commercial analyst experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good basic understanding of accounting standards
  • Understand the new accounting standards on revenue recognition, and capitalisation.
  • Possess good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP and data visualisation (Tableau) software will be an advantage
