As a People & Culture Partner reporting to the Senior Director, you will be integral to the HR implementation plan for Singtel Singapore. You'll support the People & Culture team in managing the employee lifecycle and addressing non-automated HR matters. This role involves collaborating with COEs and line managers to deliver solutions across areas like workforce management, organizational design, performance strategies, and promoting the B.I.G. culture.
Key responsibilities include driving cross-location projects, executing people strategy initiatives, ensuring HR projects meet quality standards, and implementing the People roadmap. Success in this role requires agility, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and strong project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the business strategy and support People & Culture Leaders in aligning HR capabilities with business goals.
- Develop innovative strategies, create project roadmaps, and set team priorities.
- Define and execute strategic HR projects, ensuring successful implementation.
- Apply critical and lateral thinking to solve complex HR challenges, escalating when needed.
- Adopt a customer-centric approach to engage, inspire, and influence stakeholders to deliver HR initiatives.
- Address and resolve employee lifecycle issues, proactively managing complex matters that are not yet self-serve or automated.
- Deliver multi-faceted initiatives simultaneously and across HR specialisation areas.
- Build collaborative relationships focusing on transformation and liaise with COEs for best practices.
- Ensure HR projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Cultivate a mindset of continuous improvement, integrating technology and leveraging AI tools to streamline, simplify, and automate HR processes.
- Guide and coach People Managers as HR Managers.
- Take ownership of specific projects or initiatives as directed by the Senior Director, People & Culture Partners.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- At least 10 years of experience in HR, with good experience managing end-to-end HR functions.
- A degree in business or a related field, with professional certification from IHRP.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR core competencies, including strategic workforce planning, performance and remuneration practices.
- Numeracy skills with proficiency in data analysis, able to identify trends, align insights with business priorities, and develop recommendations for diverse group of stakeholders.
- Passionate about People and HR operations management.
- Proven track record in establishing, implementing, and executing operational processes.
- Up-to-date knowledge of HR practices and technologies.
- Practical knowledge of labour laws within the region.
