The Networks Cloud is a Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI) built on VMware, Openstack and Kubernetes, complemented by Datacenter Software Defined Networking (DC-SDN) and automation tools such as Ansible. As a Networks Cloud Planner your responsibility is to manage the lifecycle of the Networks Cloud Infrastructure maintaining a highly performant, secure and scalable where various Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) will be hosted on to meet business objectives.




Lifecycle Management of the Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI)

  • Forecast capacity demands ahead of time to build up the necessary capacity
  • Technology refresh to update the NFVI with the latest technology
  • Plan the roadmap for functional enhancements of the Networks Cloud


Project Management

  • Running of Tenders with the support of the Procurement team. This would include the preparations of technical specifications, technical and commercial evaluation and Statement of Works.
  • Manage Project Delivery within the allocated budget, resources and timeline.
  • Service Transition to ensure Project is handed over to Service Operations.
