Planning Manager

Responsibilities:
- Lead in the planning and project management of new or existing mobile money services, including technology selection, capacity planning, service rollout and service performance management, etc.
- Work with stakeholders in Product Development, Marketing and Engineering in the requirements compilation and clarification, and lead in discussions on new emerging technologies.
- Lead in Technical architecture to produce/review/update E2E solution for mCommerce AOP (Annual Operating Plan) initiatives, perform technical and financial feasibility studies on potential new valueadded systems, taking lead in reviewing the system design and integration flow.
- Lead in preparation of tender specifications, evaluation of tender from both a technical and commercial standpoint, and project manage the implementation of value-added systems.
- Lead in liaising and coordinating with system vendor(s)/service provider(s) for end to end service testing and troubleshooting, including network troubleshooting & testing documentation.
- Lead & plan the near and long term network architecture and capacity needs.
- Lead in commercial and technical negotiation with existing and potential vendors.
- Engage regional counterparts to identify and realise cost and operational synergies.
- Manage vendor(s) during project implementation.
- Manage and provides support during the yearly and ad-hoc audit review.
- Assist department head in managing the Operation and capital expenses for the department.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- Have a good degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or Mobile Communications.
- Have 4-5 years of working experience in financial institutes/payments or IT industry, especially in the role of system integration & operation.
- Have the knowledge and experience in mobile money & payment services and AML/CFT (Anti-money laundering and counter-financing of termism) services.
- Sound organizational, writing, and interpersonal communications. Capable of explaining to nontechnical managers the implications of various technology-related initiatives/options.
- Experience working in a matrix environment with input from multiple avenues, would be highly desirable.
- Experience in managing complex organization of internal and external resources to deliver features required by this business.
- Have good analytical and systematic troubleshooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification.
- Major contract negotiations skills with vendors.
- Must have strong time management skills and be comfortable taking additional responsibilities.
- Have the ability to read and analyze technical data, ability to solve technical problems related to systems integration, and communicate plans and issues to others.
- Be able to work outside normal working hours to coordinate upgrades and patch loading as such activities may disrupt mobile money services.
- Have the ability to work in a virtual team environment.
- Be a team player coupled with strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.
- PMP© certification or similar would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of EMV Contactless & Visa Tokenization Services would be an advantage.
