This position will help to develop NCS thought leadership/ intellectual property (frameworks/ tools/ methodologies, etc.) in Digital transformation. He/She is required to engage customers strategically, demonstrate industry insights, understand their digital transformation needs, and provides advisory how to carry out the transformation   The practice lead will represent NCS as the thought leader/ evangelist of the digital transformation area.


The Practice Lead would engage with current and potential clients to understand their business and its challenges, strategies, operating model and competitive needs to co-create solutions which improve their business, using the services of NCS. Collaborating with NEXT leads as well as CSU lead, the practice lead would strive to build new demand and opportunities from clients and potential clients to increase revenue and stickiness in the services provided by NCS


The Practice Lead will advise, shape and deliver technology led transformation programs aiming to enhance end customers’ digital experience, and bring with him/her significant experience helping clients transform their businesses, from strategy through execution, with a particular emphasis on helping clients embed digital capabilities. Their knowledge will inform decisions including which services/solutions we build-out, how we price/package what we do, and how we create a competitive value proposition now and in the future to meet changing market needs.



NEXT Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Provide specialist knowledge to support team’s development of business and annual operation plans (AOP) for the digital transformation practice
  • Demonstrate the value of the consulting team through demonstration/ evangelisation of specialist area/ knowledge


 Strategic Capability Development

  • Lead and design new strategic capabilities for the practice in specialist area
  • Lead and design intellectual property (e.g. thought leadership/ points of view/ frameworks/ tools/ methodologies) of topics relating to the practice
  • Refine and fine tune NCS approach and methodology for Digital transformation and people transformation initiatives


Business Development

  • Be accountable for business development by providing specialist knowledge to lead and/or differentiate NCS
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities with clear ROI, prioritizing and launching.


Project Delivery

  • Responsible for managing the presales and delivery of digital strategy, services and business process transformation projects
  • Leads setting of standards, design of high quality templates for staff to follow in specialist area
  • Provide specialist knowledge in project to guide change management team
  • Provide recommendations (in the form of reports, presentations) in specialist area


Centre/ Financial Management

  • Accountable for the practice’s billability


Process Compliance

  • Comply to corporate governance
  • Ensure staff’s compliance


Process Improvement

  • Initiate and lead improvement of work process within the practice
  • Lead improvement of methodology, templates, tools to ensure operation excellence (e.g. shorten delivery timeline, reduce effort)


Customer Relationship Management

  • Engage customers at strategic level
  • Conceive and build digital business process transformation assets suited to NCS client needs
  • Provide thought leadership and expert knowledge in specialist area
  • Contextualise specialist area to address specific customers’ business needs


Team/ People Management

  • Identifies and grooms potential successors to key positions within the team



  • Ensure knowledge is up to date
  • Continually gain knowledge and skills


Contribution to Knowledge Sharing

  • Contribute know-how to knowledge repository
  • Co-Led consulting community of practice
  • Conduct training to staff and wider NCS audience on specialist area


The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:

  • University degree, MBA - good to have
  • Deep Consulting experience from top consulting companies; change management consulting proposal development and project delivery.
  • Business finance acumens (ie P&L, accounting), Change Management, presentation 
  • Negotiating and Influencing | Partnering and Networking
  • Project Management | Strategic Planning
  • Consulting skills, research, analysis, facilitation skills
