The Pricing Manager is responsible for tactical pricing execution and deal support, ensuring that pricing decisions for products, bundles, and customer deals are commercially sound, competitive, and compliant with internal guardrails. This role focuses on hands-on analysis, deal reviews, and approvals, rather than owning overall pricing strategy.

Deal & Tactical Pricing Execution
- Review and support day-to-day pricing requests, including:

- Customer-specific pricing
- Deal discounts and exceptions
- Bundled and customized solutions
- Contract renewals and repricing
- Evaluate pricing requests against margin targets, approval thresholds, and commercial guidelines.
- Provide clear pricing recommendations (approve / reject / revise) with supporting rationale.
Commercial & Financial Analysis
- Perform deal-level financial analysis, including:

- Margin and contribution analysis
- Cost build-ups
- Contract profitability over lifecycle
2. Build and maintain pricing and deal models to assess short- and long-term impact.
3. Flag value leakage, pricing risks, and unprofitable deal structures.
Sales & Business Partnering
- Act as a pricing partner to Sales and Account teams, supporting:

- Large, strategic, or non-standard deals
- RFP / tender pricing submissions
- Contract renewals and upsell scenarios
- Guide Sales teams on pricing levers (term, volume, bundles, scope) to improve deal outcomes.
Governance & Controls
- Enforce pricing governance and approval processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Maintain audit trails and documentation for pricing exceptions and approvals.
- Support internal and external audit queries related to pricing and deal approvals.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track deal pricing outcomes vs assumptions (actual margins, performance trends).
- Identify recurring pricing issues and recommend tactical improvements to guidelines, tools, or processes.
- Support enhancements to pricing tools, templates, and dashboards.
Skills for Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 5–8 years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, deal desk, or revenue management.
- Avanced Excel and familiarity with Power BI / Tableau / SQL is a plus.
- Strong exposure to B2B / Enterprise deal pricing, preferably in telecommunications, ICT, cloud, or managed services.
- Experience supporting complex, multi-year contracts and customized solutions.
- Experience with CRM (e.g. Salesforce), pricing tools, billing or ERP systems is an advantage.
- High attention to detail, risk, and compliance.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and high deal volumes.
- Confident in challenging assumptions while remaining commercial and pragmatic.
- Clear, concise communication with Sales and senior stakeholders.
