The Pricing Validation Analyst will be joining our Billing team and is responsible to validate pricing from a billing perspective within customer contracts. The position reviews complex bespoke contracts to ensure accurate billing, initiating rate plan configurations, and performing quality assurance to prevent customer disputes. This position will be required to work according to the operational hours of the overseas operations they support.

 

 

Make an Impact by:

 

  • Validate contract pricing – Analyze legal contracts to understand pricing for billing
  • Ensure billable pricing – Identify pricing gaps and ensure contract pricing is billable, completing validations within expected timeframes (>95%)
  • Initiate IT configurations – Lodge and manage rate plan configuration requests into billing systems with high accuracy
  • Perform contract pre-reviews – Undertake analysis prior to contract signature to ensure accurate contracts and fast delivery
  • Create database entries – Capture billing information for downstream teams to provision rate plans, process cancellation fees, and manage credit requests
  • Approve contracted credits – Review and approve contracted credit requests to meet contract obligations and protect revenue
  • Quality assurance – Perform peer-to-peer reviews of work to ensure team accuracy >95%
  • Resolve enquiries – Manage and respond to internal enquiries and requests via portal within expected timeframes (>80%)
  • Monitor quality – Track quality errors and work with management to implement preventative processes
  • Contribute to training – Support training sessions and create documentation to address quality errors

 

 

Skills for Success

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field, or a professional accounting qualification
  • 2–3 years of experience with billing systems and pricing, within a Finance, Billing, or Customer Service environment
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry, with a solid understanding of products and operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) with good working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage clearly and professionally across functions
  • Proven ability in time management and prioritization, including handling multiple monthly deadlines and resolving issues efficiently
  • An adaptable and collaborative team player who performs well in dynamic environments and maintains a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset

 

Good to Have

 

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or practical experience in an IT‑related discipline
  • Additional exposure to multiple billing systems
  • Knowledge of contract management
  • Experience in billing configuration and system setup
