What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the mid-term and long-term E2E network strategy development through collaboration with other network domains.
- Conducting competition analysis of the market to identify gaps and propose strategy plans to ensure Optus network competitiveness.
- Establishing and owning the strategy paper on detailed network areas, such as Small Cell and IBC.
- Bringing to bear network build financial models to guide decision-making and provide a framework for achieving long-term organizational goals.
- Coordinating network strategy review and governance forums to track and adjust the 5-year strategy implementation as necessary.
- Assessing market dynamics and technology developments in international standards bodies.
- Working with network teams and vendors on roadmaps and technology evolution to bring in new technologies and solutions.
- Providing technical advisory to the 12-month technology innovation announcement plan.
What You Bring
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Telco industry, specifically in RF Wireless Network Engineering.
- Deep knowledge of Mobile technologies including 4G, 5G, and 5GA.
- Experience in Network Performance Optimization and Management, as well as Network Capacity Planning and Management.
- Proficient skills in E2E network strategy development involving technology evolution, solution design, and value creation analysis.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-domain teams to build and carry out strategies, with outstanding communication skills.
- Advanced data analytical skills for E2E network research.
- Exposure to business and network consultancy.
- Multi-vendor experience is favourable.
