The Procurement Analyst is a key member of the Corporate Procurement Team. He/ she shall be responsible for supporting procurement projects and operations that includes the review of procurement policies, processes and system effectiveness.


In addition, the Procurement Analyst will also be required to support BU Procurement teams and business users in the administration of sourcing events and contract records in Ariba and SAP systems.




Procurement Operations Support

  • Administration of tender/Request for Proposal (RFP) events using Ariba system. Creation and maintenance of contract records in Ariba and SAP systems.
  • Provide recommendations to  end users on tender/RFP and eAuction  processes, formats and configurations on Ariba functionalities to achieve optimal sourcing outcome.
  • Provide education and training to supplier e-Auction training that includes the support for administration of e-Auction events.


Procurement Policy and Process Management

  • Analyse trends, identify and develop business improvement initiatives including but not limited to policies, processes and systems
  • Engage stakeholders to  solicit feedback, perform gap analysis and develop effective solutions to  address gaps
  • Design and implement Knowledge Management for procurement’s processes and resources in Espresso SharePoint
  • Provide education and training on procurement policies and best practices


Procurement Systems Management

  • Collaborate with IT Application teams in gathering system requirements and development.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as business owner and user representative.
  • Develop reporting tools and dashboards, support reporting requests and perform data analysis to facilitate management visibility on Procurement Spend Analysis.
  • Promote Procurement system adoption to business users
  • Define functional system user guides and accordingly develop training materials


The ideal candidate should have/ be:

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma in Business or IT
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic Project Management (as a project team member)
  • Issues Identification and Root Cause Analysis
  • Adept in using systems and technologies
  • Ability to deliver training and facilitate learning for external suppliers
  • Effective communication skill with stakeholders
  • Good writing/documentation skill
