Product Manager, IoT Solutions (fixed term contract)

This is on 1 year fixed term contract with Singtel. 


As a Product Manager for IoT solutions, you will be responsible for identifying innovative products/solutions, conducting market research, generating product/solution requirements, determining specifications, evaluating technology vendors, manage production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction, developing marketing strategies.




  • Understanding the market and competitive landscape to identify products that the IoT team should introduce into our product portfolio
  • Defining, prioritizing and designing the features & functionalities based on market needs & opportunities
  • Evaluating alternative vendor’s technologies to discover unique devices and solutions to fulfil unmet needs
  • Managing the features and scheduling of each software release
  • Developing use cases that demonstrates unique value proposition and benefits of our products
  • Preparing product business case
  • Supporting tender response by conducting “fit assessment”
  • Managing overall cost structure, pricing strategy, OEM partners and other technology partners and product P&L
  • Partnering closely with sales and product engineering to define and manage the product roadmap
  • Working closely with product marketing and engineering teams on product GTM activities, implementation and support



The ideal candidate should possess


  • Degree with 3 -5 years of experience in product development or product management.
  • Experience with IoT, mobile and wireless technologies
  • Experience implementing IoT applications in verticals/industries
  • Experience in creating product/solution specifications that describes product/solution features
  • Experience in working with, or leading vendor product/solution development to create minimum viable product
  • Experience with project management
  • Understanding of Product Management lifecycle
  • Cost & revenue modelling and projection
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams, including commercial & support functions, such as sales, legal, tax, finance
  • Experience in managing partners and negotiating contracts
