As a Product Manager, the broad area of responsibilities shall include:

  • Design workflow to plan for product selling and management in Singapore, Regional; China and Hong Kong
  • Coordinate with Product Director on pushing of Video Analytics Products to the targeted market.
  • Deep understanding of current issues faced by customer in terms of video analytics with capability to relate with use case and explain the video analytics usage to Project Managers and Customers
  • Assist in leading the Video Analytics team with the product director in addition to roadmap and requirement planning
  • Supporting business units in NCS business units in Singapore as well as in overseas.
  • Sizing of opportunity in the Video-related products in Singapore and in China
  • Analyse and understand user requirements and work with internal and external Project delivery team in achieving high throughput rate in delivery of products-projects.
  • Support consultancy to request for Quotation (RFQ), evaluate third-party video analytics technologies/solutions, negotiate and make recommendations to bid team for inclusion in proposal
  • Provide consultancy and in depth solution methodology in projects implementation upon award, including driving system level and detailed design, System Design documentation, Acceptance Test Plans, and seek approvals from customers and regulatory authorities where applicable, and manage 3rd party vendors on system delivery and technical performance.
  • Plan workflow to achieve optimize methodology in configure, implement, optimize and test video-related software and hardware but not limited to, IP cameras, video encoders, Video Management Systems, Video Analytics, storage, Virtualization, as well as benchmarking various video analytics solutions for technical comparative assessment etc
  • Conduct and develop materials for use in customer training and train others in project teams
  • Conduct project post mortem, identify successful elements and propose recommendations on areas for improvement


Ideal candidate should possess:

  • Degree in Communications/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant    
  • More than 10 years of working experience in IT sector or government or large corporate with and understanding of how large customers and government requirements in the field of digital initiatives and its trends in the market
  • 5 years of experience relevant understanding in Video analytics product. Clear know-how of a product lifecycle and also demonstrate sufficient hand-on experience in managing a team of engineers working towards a product goal.

  • Able to drive technical requirements towards market and customer needs
