Responsibilities:
- Responsible for product performance and profitability for Singtel IP Transit product.
- Define and execute product strategy, roadmaps, peering and interconnect plans with focus in driving new growth in the region.
- Build business case, modelling and analysis to support new business opportunities and customization of existing offering to meet specific customer needs.
- Understand and monitor the ecosystem of internet service providers and content providers. Identify optimization possibility and solutions to drive improvement
- Manage and optimise product cost structure and commercial model with customer and partners
- Manage product policies and streamline processes. Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure product requirements are well supported and integrated into IT systems
- Assess and understand customers’ needs, keep abreast of technology developments and competitive situation. Plan and define clear product positioning and proposition, new capabilities, benchmarking against competitor to ensure product is viable against market needs
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Telecoms or similar, preferably with IP Transit network service provider with peering experience.
- Strong financial, data mining & analysis skill with high competency in MS excel, MS powerpoint & reports
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Keen sense of technology developments, market trends, and strong understanding of telecom business
- Team players with ability to work independently to drive change and succeed in winning in a competitive market environment.
