We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Owner (PO) for Remote Access Technology to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an agile delivery squad focused on developing and implementing remote access solutions, ensuring seamless onboarding, connectivity and security for our remote users. This role requires a deep understanding of remote access technologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The PO will have dual reporting responsibilities to the Delivery Portfolio and Product Manager of remote access.

 

The day to day

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for remote access solutions in consultation with Product Manager.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Lead an agile delivery squad in the development and implementation of remote access solutions, including Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), remote desktop, and other connectivity tools.
  • Deliver product lifecycle using Agile Scrum methodology, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Lead and facilitate Scrum events, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retros.
  • Work closely with architecture, engineering, security, and IT teams to ensure the successful delivery of remote access projects.
  • Monitor and analyse product performance, user feedback, and market trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements for remote access solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on remote access tools and best practices.
  • Report progress, challenges, and outcomes to both the Delivery Portfolio Director and Product Manager.

 

Your skills to pay the bills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or relevant certificate such as PMI.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in remote access or networking technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver software products using Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Experience in leading and facilitating Scrum events, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retros.
  • Strong understanding of remote access technologies, solutions.
  • Computer literacy including Project Management software tools (MS project, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Budgeting - Financially literate
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to form relationships with customer and vendor organisations.
