Radio Access Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Radio Access Network (RAN) manager

• Implementation of RAN and wireless backhaul solutions.

• Responsible in ensure installation and safety standards for all RAN deployment in the network.

• Supervise and review all installation works done by contractor to ensure good installation quality.

• Preparing RAN integration scripts and performing integration of wireless base stations and other RAN related equipment.

• Responsible to perform UE testing on pre-launch devices and new RAN equipment to verify functionality and network compatibility.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on RAN related equipment

• Providing technical support for fault troubleshooting, replace and return of faulty equipment

• Prepare test cases for UE and RAN equipment testing.

• Liaising with vendors to resolve technical issues that arise during testing phase.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering/Computer science/IT and networking or equivalent

• Preferred 1 – 2 years in wireless telecommunication network industry, fresh graduates is welcome to apply.

• Preferred knowledge in 5G/LTE/Wi-Fi protocol, IP networking, radio signaling, air interface, call processing technologies and network architecture specifically focused on Radio Access Network.

• Proficient in MS office products like Outlook, Excel & Word

• Good interpersonal & analytical skills

• Positive work attitude, independent and able to work under pressure.

• Collaborative mindset, strong team player to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Preferred candidate to possess Class 3 driving license

• May be required to support ad-hoc tasks outside regular business hours on as-needed basis.
