Introduction

This role is for the Corporate Systems & Services department of Singtel. We are the business partners within the organisation to support Corporate Functions in delivery projects, build and run applications as well as providing maintenance and support. We aim to drive our digital ecosystem by strengthening our corporate systems architecture across different areas such as Intranet System, HR System, ERP System, RPA, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High level of business/customer satisfaction on testing services as required by the business.
  • Act as a central point of communication to help explain performance and automation technical concepts to both IT and Singtel business stakeholders.
  • Govern vendor adherence to TMO test processes and IP retention framework.
  • Develop vendor performance metrics to measure/gauge vendor quality.
  • Develop/Refine/streamline PT and automation TMO test processes in conjunction with the TMO governance/process team.
  • Increase the accountability of vendors for delivered testing.
  • Accountable for high quality PT and automation deliverables within TMO Singtel engagements.
  • TMO Projects follow the Singtel IT and Operations governance structure for the execution of test services.
  • Encourage innovative test strategies within their portfolio. Test team provides test strategies/plans for projects which introduces innovative techniques that deliver clear quality, cost or schedule benefits.
  • Effective management of risk across projects and escalation of issues to achieve minimal impact to the project schedule/budget
  • Honest regular feedback and development plans with all team members.
  • Provide team members with opportunity for development.
  • Performance Development reviews and interim reviews held.
  • Manage Test Delivery to ensure that the project remains within agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality.
  • Successful negotiations with system owners, production support, project managers on delivery of automation and performance testing services
  • Manage Test Delivery to ensure that the project remains within agreed effort & budget
  • Drive Test Delivery Efficiency through increased Automation

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • An IT or related tertiary qualification with considerable Test Management or Test Team Leading experience.
  • ISTQB/ISEB Certification
  • Expert knowledge of quality improvement, quality process, quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
  • Proven Performance and automation testing experience, within a complex, multi-tiered architecture.
  • Expert knowledge of test tools and designing technical frameworks. (e.g. HP ALM QC/PC v12.00 or higher, HP Vugen LoadRunner and analysis, HP BAC diagnostics, HP Sitescope, HP UFT, Selenium with Cucumber/Ruby, Jenkins, XCTest and Espresso.)
  • Familiar with Microsoft and Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Good knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and interpersonal communications with the ability to influence others at all levels (client facing, commercially aware, assertiveness, consensus building, and negotiation).
  • Test analysis skills and techniques (e.g. workshop facilitation, interviewing, problems / requirements definition)
  • Ability to clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions/options.
  • Ability to prioritise personal and team workloads to best meet organizational objectives.
  • Excellent Computer literacy with standard operation tools e.g MS Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Device literacy across apple (IPhone & iPAD) Android technologies
