We are seeking a talented and experienced Release/ Change Manager to join our team to oversee and manage weekly Enterprise project and change requests releases. He/ She will be responsible for working with multiple project and application teams to ensuring the successful deployment of their software, systems, and infrastructure changes by coordinating resources, defining release plans, and collaborating across teams. He/She will also play a crucial role in ensuring that all changes are executed efficiently while minimizing risk and downtime for services.

Release Planning & Coordination: Lead the planning, scheduling, and coordination of weekly releases for Singtel enterprise projects and change request, ensuring they align with organizational goals, timelines, and customer needs.

Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with software or infrastructure releases and changes. Work with technical teams to develop rollback plans in case of issues during deployment.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, development, operations, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of release schedules and requirements. Act as the central point of contact for all release and change request activities.

Release Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive release documentation, including release notes, change logs, and post-deployment reports. Ensure that all stakeholders are well-informed of release schedules, changes, and potential impacts.

Deployment Oversight: Manage the deployment of releases into the production environment, ensuring that deployment is performed smoothly and without service interruptions. Supervise the implementation of change requests in live systems.

Post-Release Monitoring and Support: Work with application and project teams to monitor the performance of released software and changes in the production environment. Ensure that any post-release issues are identified, escalated, and resolved promptly.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve release management processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure more efficient and effective releases and change implementations.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all releases undergo appropriate testing and validation before deployment. Work with QA teams to ensure changes meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Compliance & Governance: Ensure that all release management activities are compliant with Singtel release processes, internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards, especially concerning data security and privacy.
Skills For Success:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in release management, change management, or project management within IT sector. Telecommunication experience will be added advantage.
- Technical Skills:
o Strong understanding of release management tools, change request systems, and project management software (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Jenkins, Git, etc.).
o Knowledge of telecommunications systems, infrastructure, and services.
o Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, or other relevant frameworks is preferred.
- Project Management Skills: Experience in managing and coordinating large-scale projects, including defining scope, timelines, resources, and managing risks.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a keen focus on minimizing risk during deployments.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on the details of the release process while keeping track of overall goals and deadlines.
- Time Management: Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple releases and change requests simultaneously.
- Telco domain knowledge in BSS/OSS area will be an added advantage
