Position Summary

As a Sales Lead for Public Service - Education , you are responsible for leading the team to drive NCS sales, including account penetration, prospect qualification, supervision of sales activity, sales process planning, and closing all sales opportunities in the industry and/or sector that you will be assigned to. You are expected to build deep and trusted business relationships with the client to seed and grow future opportunities.
 
Beyond managing your own Business Centre’s sales, sold margin and revenue achievements, you also act as trusted client advisors to customise and sell NCS solutions and services according to the business needs of clients.
 
Reporting to the Client Service Lead (CSL) of Public Service (PS) you will work within the PS Client Service Unit, and across Service Organisation (SOs), NEXT Services. Additionally, it is important that you work with the teams to define the solution offerings and value propositions to maximise NCS’ win probability in every opportunity. The key to success is your deep understanding of the business needs of the clients, provides consulting services and developing sales pipelines.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow your portfolio of accounts space through strong engagement with key decision makers by selling NCS solutions to the target customer base;
  • Meet sales quota through identifying and gaining business from new and existing clients and ensuring customer’s satisfaction through the products and services provided by NCS;
  • Manage and coordinate contract terms and conditions internally and externally;
  • Manage and build relationships at all levels with the designated clients that you oversee;
  • Develop value prepositions and negotiate successfully to close deals;
  • Drive profitable wins focused on NCS’ core capabilities and growth strategy;
  • Coordinate and partner across functional teams and Service Organisation (SOs) within NCS to strike innovative deals, get orders provisioned and meet the customers' service expectations.
  • Provide one-stop experience to customers regarding all NCS services.

 
The ideal profile should have / be:

  • Degree in related discipline. Preferably with Technical or Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of selling/business development experience in IT or ICT services industry with 5 years or more sales experience focusing on key account industry in Education. Consulting Practitioner background preferred
  • Process broad business acumen and deep industry knowledge, and to use this knowledge to develop/enhance client relationships. Experience in Consulting preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and consistent success closing individual deals
  • Ability to strategize sales strategy; articulate and present a compelling value proposition
  • Good sales acumen with proven track record of prospecting, qualifying leads and assessing client’s needs
  • Technical acumen blended with ability to communicate business value           
  • Excellent communication skills including presentation abilities
  • Understand social style techniques and apply these to manage stakeholders
