Job Overview

 

The Sales Support Executive provide support to the CSU sales teams for tender or proposal submission request within specific tender closing timeline. Beyond helping to source for new sales opportunities by understanding customers’ needs and requirements, he/she also supports the sales team by partnering with the other business functions to work out pricing matters and strategies.

 

 

Role and Responsibilities

 

  • Manage deals that may not need tenders, and in some cases, non-bulk tender deals
  • Manage hardware, software and maintenance renewals for deals.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements from Account Leadership, to build pipeline and create new sales opportunities in the system for the account
  • Partner LOBs to work out and compile pricing based on customers’ requirements
  • Engage and interact with customers on deal or tender clarifications, only as required
  • Secure necessary approvals based on NCS’ processes and meet tender submission deadlines by customers
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and emails
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Assists sales team with paperwork to close off on opportunities
  • Prepare sales quotations for submission
  • Some roles and responsibilities include pre-sales activities around proposal, BQ (budgetary quote) and tender preparation/ submission/ clarification, CRM creation and maintenance, finance and bid team clarifications, legal, contract management and NDA clarifications, and maintenance renewal follow-up.
  • Post-sales roles & responsibilities include activities such as purchase order processing, CRM closure, Bankers Guarantee and Insurance certificate follow-up, as well as monitoring of ageing invoices.

 

The Ideal Candidate Should Have

  

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma with at least 2-3 years relevant experience
  • Working experience in ICT industry in sales business operations support is an added advantage.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with CRM tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong stakeholder management to interact with external customers and internal colleagues
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
