Security Management System Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the system design, implementation, testing, managing and maintenance of proposed system, in the domain of integrated security system including but not limited to security management system, CCTV with Video Analytics, etc. 

• Responsible for daily maintenance activities include preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance

• Good knowledge and hands on skills in troubleshooting on Integrated Security System in software and hardware such as 

  • Security Management System (SMS) 

  • Access Control System (ACS) 

  • Video Management System (VMS) 

  • Analogue and IP CCTV system 

  • Fence Intrusion Detection System (FIDS)

  • Perimeter Protection System (PPS)   

• Work closely with Team Leader to meet service delivery level agreement 

• Provide technical documentation support to Project & Solutions Teams, as well as hand over as-built system documentation to Maintenance support team 

• Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor’s support to diagnose and rectify technical problems. 

• Supervise and manage vendor in support for the preventive and corrective maintenance works. 

• Capable to read and understand technical documentation, installation manual, as-built system drawing etc 

• Capable to support in budgetary quotation for new and additional devices and system installation. 

• Able to work independently without supervision and demonstrate good communication skills to take on new service requests dealing with customers. 

• Assist in day-to-day operation to ensure System Availability and Reliability meets customer requirement. 

• Carry out other technical related duties that may be required. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience as a CCTV Security Management System Engineer or similar role, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing CCTV security systems.

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in hardware devices, server administration, configuration and troubleshooting 

• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting CCTV cameras, video management systems (VMS), and recording devices is a plus

• Good understanding of network infrastructure and protocols related to CCTV systems.

• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) or Certified CCTV Technician, are a plus

• Experience with integrating CCTV systems with other security technologies (e.g., access control, intrusion detection) is desirable
