As an Application Engineer the role will focus on application support and enhancements delivery for Enterprise Billing applications.

Make an Impact by:

• Providing production support and maintenance for Core System applications supporting Singtel Enterprise Business.
• Managing daily operations together with the appointed vendors on the various support and maintenance activities:
  • To trouble shoot, identify and fix the technical and operational issues as per SLA.
  • To provide root cause analysis of the issue.
  • Follow-up with incidents resolution with business users to closure.
• Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures.
• Coordinating escalation and resolution of major service issues and incidents.
• Responding and reporting promptly to management and business users regarding critical outages until resolution.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Providing 7 x 24 production support including weekends and holidays

Skills for Success: 

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, software or computer engineering fields or equivalent.
• Experience and proficiency with Amdocs Kenan
• Minimum 5 years of IT working experience and at least 1 year of experience in providing production support for mission critical applications and monitoring of production health for issues and problems.
• Experience in technical areas: Database Query using Oracle, PL/SQL, MSSQL, C, C++, .Net
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with other internal /external departments, and personnel of various levels.
