The Associate Engineer will be responsible for Satellite platform and systems supporting satellite services. He/She possesses in experience in networking, systems and security, or relevant experience in Satellite environment.

Make an Impact by

• To maintain, operate and monitor Satellite platforms equipment such as Routers, Switches, iDirect Hubs systems, Firewalls, Satellite modems, 2FA systems
• To provide Satellite platform support and problem management for Satellite-IP, Maritime VSAT (MVSAT), Inmarsat services, Mail platforms, Voice & data Services, ICT devices such as Smartbox, SIP phone, firewall and Security.
• To perform configuration, implementation and commissioning of the satellite services
• To review incident management and escalation from stakeholders and to ensure the SLA for the services are met.
• To support implementation of solutions on new systems, products, implementation, customized solutions
• To support Change Management for systems, OS upgrades and security & vulnerabilities patches
• To review resource and utilization of the network and system capacity.

Skills for Success

• Diploma in Satellite Communications Engineering/ Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineer / Information Technology / Networking Engineering from a recognized institution. (Fresh graduates are welcome)
• Applicants without the necessary qualifications but with relevant experience and skillset will also be considered.
• Knowledge in satellite communications.
• Strong leadership with drive to take on challenging roles.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and able to adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Operational readiness on 24 X 7 environment.
• Ability to perform 12 hours shift operations.
